Yesterday, 106.7 Lite FM presented the return of its much-anticipated, annual lunchtime theatre summer series, '106.7 Lite FM's Broadway in Bryant Park.' The 2013 program will present the best of Broadway, FREE to the public, on six consecutive Thursdays beginning July 11 at 12:30 p.m. on the Bryant Park Stage. The Cooperstown Summer Music Festival will offer free Pro Am performances today, July 9 in Edmeston, July 10 in Cherry Valley, and July 11 in Cooperstown. The Pro Am, now in its sixth year, can trace its roots to an unplanned meeting at a local ice cream shop, when Festival artistic director and founder Linda Chesis and Bruce and Mona Harris discussed the possibility of having non-career musicians participate in the Festival. Bruce Harris, a neurosurgeon at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown, is also an accomplished pianist.

Kevin Del Aguila will play his last performance on Sunday, July 7, before joining the cast of Love's Labours Lost at The Public Theater. Del Aguila returns to Peter and the Starcatcher onAugust 26.
