Stephen Fry to Return as Host of EE BAFTA FILM AWARDS

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts has today announced that Stephen Fry will return to host the EE British Academy Film Awards on 8 February 2015 at the Royal Opera House in London's Covent Garden. It will be the 10th time Fry has hosted the ceremony.

Lupita Nyong'o Turns Down Chance to Make Broadway Debut

Receiving a Tony Award to go with her Oscar is no longer next on Lupita Nyong'o's to-do list. The Academy Award-winning 12 Years a Slave star has turned down the chance for a Broadway debut in Nick Payne's CONSTELLATIONS opposite Jake Gyllenhaal. Reportedly, she turned it down so she could appear in the next STAR WARS film, STAR WARS: EPISODE VII.

National School Boards Association Joins Effort to Distribute '12 Years a Slave' to U.S. Public High Schools

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 19, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ The National School Boards Association (NSBA) has partnered with New Regency, Fox Searchlight, Penguin Books, and the filmmakers to make copies of the acclaimed film, book, and study guide "12 Years a Slave" available to America's public high schools. British actor, director, and producer Sir Richard Attenborough, best known for the Academy Award-winning film, Ghandi has died at age 90, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The Eastern Museum of Motor Racing Acquires Roy Blas Painting

The Eastern Museum of Motor Racing, Gettysburg, Pa., recently acquired Roy Blas painting of three time Lemans winning American racing champion Phil Hill. The painting of the May 1959 Sports Illustrated cover shows Hill leaning against his red Ferrari at Sebring. Roy Blas created the painting in honor of Mr. Hill's 50th Anniversary of winning the 1962 24 hour Lemans. Roy Blas is a top American emerging avant garde artist and creator of the 'American Swagger' iconographic series.
