The painting of the May 1959 Sports Illustrated cover shows Hill leaning against his red Ferrari at Sebring. Roy Blas created the painting in honor of Mr. Hill's 50th Anniversary of winning the 1962 24 hour Lemans.

Roy Blas is a top American emerging avant garde artist and creator of the "American Swagger" iconographic series. The series depicts American icons who displayed the confidence and class that make for that American swagger and includes Steve McQueen and Marilyn Monroe.
