Tony and Emmy Award Winning Actor Hugh Jackman will be honored by Museum of the Moving Image at its 27th annual Salute on December 11, 2012 at Cipriani Wall Street in New York. The news was announced today by Carl Goodman, the Museum's Executive Director.

The award winning Arvada Center will open its 2012- 2013 season with Dirty Rotten Scoundrels directed by Rod A. Lansberry on September 11 running through September 30 in the Main Stage Theater. Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is written by Jeffrey Lane with music and lyrics by David Yazbek. Performances are Tuesday - Saturday at 7:30 pm, Wednesday at 1pm, Saturday and Sunday at 2pm. Preview performances are September 7 - 9. Moderated talkbacks with the cast are offered on Friday, September 21 after 7:30 pm show and Wednesday, September 26 after 1:00 pm show. Joan Stein, who produced both theatre on the West and East Coasts and television in Los Angeles, died today from appendceal cancer, a family spokesperson announced. She was 59.

Directed by Gary Gisselman (Guthrie: A Christmas Carol, Lost in Yonkers), The Sunshine Boys features veteran actors Peter Michael Goetz and Raye Birk as Willie Clark and Al Lewis, respectively, a pair of crabby, retired vaudeville comedians persuaded to reunite after 11 years apart-despite the fact that they hate each other. A giant, man-eating plant from outer space will invade the Whitefish Performing Arts Center when Alpine Theatre Project presents Little Shop of Horrors tonight, July 5 through July 21 at the Whitefish Performing Arts Center in downtown Whitefish. The musical comedy runs Tuesdays - Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 6pm with a special Family Matinee at 2pm on July 21.
