BEETLEJUICE, presented by Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures (Mark Kaufman) and Langley Park Productions (Kevin McCormick), announced Beetlejuice broke the Winter Garden Box Office Record for an 8 performance week with a gross of $1,589,838.90, the week ending December 1, 2019. The previous record was held by SCHOOL OF ROCK with a gross of $1,506,236.20, for the week ending December 27, 2015.

The Drama League (Gabriel Stelian-Shanks, Executive Artistic Director) today announced the 2019 Drama League Awards Nominees for Outstanding Production of a Play, Outstanding Revival of a Play, Outstanding Production of a Musical, Outstanding Revival of a Musical, and the much-coveted Distinguished Performance Award. Beetlejuice, the new Broadway musical comedy, will record a cast album to be released later this year. The show officially opened at Broadway's Winter Garden Theatre (1634 Broadway) on Thursday, April 25. The album - produced by Matt Stine, Alex Timbers, Eddie Perfect, and Kurt Deutsch - will be recorded May 5, 6 and 13.

Robert Ahrens and Chris Aniello have announced the formation of a new theatrical general management office called LIVE WIRE THEATRICAL MANAGEMENT. The Board of Directors of About Face Theatre Company has announced that Executive Director Jason Held will be stepping down at the end January to pursue a position with Playworks Chicago. Held, who has served since 2010, will remain with the company on the Board of Directors. The AFT Board has named Jonathan (Jonny) Stacks Interim Executive Director as it launches a search for a new Executive Director.
