Maryland Ensemble Theatre (MET) will present the second play in its seventeenth Mainstage season, that well known western 'Twelfth Night', a rootin' tootin' six-gun shootin' comedy by Wild Bill Shakespeare. The classic comedy with a MET twist will be directed by Tim Seltzer and will run every Thursday through Sunday at Maryland Ensemble Theatre from today, October 24 through November 16.

Hope Operas, DC's only serialized theatre festival, returns this October with five BRAND NEW SHOWS. Join us Monday nights in October at the Comedy Spot as we present five original plays in ten- to fifteen-minute episodes with the theme District of the Damned! Our 2014 season is filled with thrills and chills to satisfy your inner ghoul. Each week, we'll take you from one hilarious horror to the next. And each show competes for the crowd's support to win top dollar for our worthy causes! Even though there's a new episode of each show every week don't worry if you miss a week, at the top of each episode there's a recap of the show so far.

Maryland Ensemble Theatre's (MET) family theatre, The Fun Company, will present the final show of its 2013-14 season, the World Premiere of The Star Stealer. Written by MET ensemble member, Caitlin Joy, and directed by fellow ensemble member Vanessa Strickland, the show hopes to capture audiences by creating entire universes out of only 6 actors and a collection of objects. The playwright is excited to share her new work; 'Vanessa has a fantastic vision for this show and the cast and crew are top notch, so it's bound to be a great performance. The laughs and the lessons are for audiences of all ages. And live theatre is always its own adventure!' The show will run from today, June 7 through June 29 at MET.

One certainly doesn't need to get high to enjoy all the buzz from the Being Revived production of Reefer Madness, running at Frederick Community College through April 13.
Expertly directed in the hands of David Norman, this rarely-produced, cult classic musical is an outstanding production, with every over-the-top comedic moment and high-energy musical number (under the impeccable music direction of Jonas Dawson) leaving the audience "jumping"!
