Bravo! Vail announced today a $1 million gift from Board Chair Craig J. Foley to underwrite the popular music Festival's long running Soiree Series and free and community engagement concerts. The new Festival Recognition Award, funded by Craig J. Foley, will be granted yearly by Foley to recipients chosen from staff, volunteers, and donors to honor those who have demonstrated extraordinary passion and commitment in achieving the mission of Bravo! Vail: Enriching people's lives through the power of music. Recipients of the Award will be prominently recognized throughout each season in underwriting credits for the Soiree Series and other community engagement performances.

Mr. Bronfman will be joined by Philharmonic Concertmaster Glenn Dicterow; Associate Principal Clarinet Mark Nuccio, replacing Principal Clarinet Stephen Williamson; Associate Principal, Second Violin Group, Lisa Kim; Associate Principal Viola Rebecca Young; and cellist Maria Kitsopoulos for the program, featuring Schubert's Sonatina in A minor; Bartok's Contrasts for Violin, Clarinet, and Piano; and Brahms's Piano Quintet, Sunday, March 30, 2014, at 3:00 p.m. at 92nd Street Y.

Frontier Airlines Provides Low Fare Service From Wilmington, Delaware

Frontier Airlines today announced it will bring its friendly brand of low-fare air service to Wilmington/Philadelphia New Castle Airport in Wilmington, DE starting July 1, 2013. Frontier will offer five new nonstop routes on 168-seat Airbus A320 aircraft to Chicago-Midway, Denver, Houston, Orlando, and Tampa, as well as offer connecting service via Denver to destinations across the west. Frontier will be the only airline providing scheduled service from Wilmington/Philadelphia Airport, just a short drive from downtown Philadelphia.
