The comedy series BARRY, starring Bill Hader, will begin production on its eight-episode season in Los Angeles this spring, it was announced today by Casey Bloys, president, HBO Programming. Hader (“Saturday Night Live”) and Alec Berg (HBO's “Silicon Valley”) serve as co-creators, executive producers and writers on the show, which is slated for 2018 debut on the network.
Principal photography is underway on New Line Cinema's comedy LIFE OF THE PARTY, starring award-winning actor Melissa McCarthy under the direction of Ben Falcone. McCarthy and Falcone co-wrote the screenplay and will produce through their production company On the Day Productions.
