As reported back in April by BroadwayWorld, Tracey Ullman will make her return to the London stage in a production of Stephen Poliakoff's MY CITY at Almida Theatre. Reheasals will begin next month.

Stephen Poliakoff will direct the world premiere of My City, his first new play for 12 years, running at the Almeida Theatre from 8 September - 5 November, with press night on 15 September 2011.

Tracey Ullman will make her return to the London stage in a production of Stephen Poliakoff's MY CITY at Almida Theatre, according to report by Baz Bamigboye for Daily Mail. The show will begin rehearsals in August, and performances begin September 8.

Lead producer Michael Cohl today announced the complete cast for SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark, which begins rehearsals this morning. Directed by Julie Taymor and featuring a book by Julie Taymor and Glen Berger, and new music and lyrics by Bono and The Edge, SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark will begin previews at Broadway's Foxwoods Theatre (213 West 42nd Street) on November 14, with opening night set for December 21.

Louis G. Spisto, Executive Producer of the Tony Award®-winning Old Globe, is pleased to announce that the Theatre will produce the new hip-hop/rock musical KINGDOM, with book/lyrics by Aaron Jafferis and music by Ian Williams, directed by Ron Daniels, for 14 performances, February 12 - 22, 2009 at The Lincoln High School Center for the Arts (Feb 12-15) and at the Old Globe Theatre (Feb 19-22).

Sam Mendes directs a transatlantic company of actors in a double-bill of classic works for The Bridge Project's inaugural 2009 season, which pairs a new version of The Cherry Orchard by Tom Stoppard with The Winter's Tale. A formidable transatlantic company and creative team will mount these two new productions for seven internationally renowned theaters. Simon Russell Beale leads the British/American cast, playing Lopakhin in The Cherry Orchard and Leontes in The Winter's Tale. Rupert Goold directs Michael Gambon, David Bradley, David Walliams and Nick Dunning in Harold Pinter's No Man's Land, at the Duke of York's Theatre. The production is currently booking until 3 January 2009. A Gate Theatre, Dublin production, No Man's Land is presented by Sonia Friedman Productions and Michael Colgan, with design by Giles Cadle, lighting by Neil Austin and sound and music by Adam Cork. Goold's production transfers to London following its opening at the Gate Theatre, Dublin in August.
