Nominations for the 27th annual Helen Hayes Awards were announced on February 28, and the MARY POPPINS North American tour was honored with four nominations for its recent Washington, D.C. engagement in the following categories: Outstanding Non-Resident Production; Caroline Sheen ('Mary Poppins') for Outstanding Lead Actress, Non-Resident Production; Gavin Lee ('Bert') for Outstanding Lead Actor, Non-Resident Production and Ellen Harvey ('Miss Andrew') for Outstanding Supporting Performer, Non-Resident Production.

Producers Thomas Schumacher of Disney Theatrical Productions and Cameron Mackintosh are pleased to announce full casting for the Philadelphia engagement of MARY POPPINS. Philadelphia's most eagerly anticipated stage production will begin performances at the Academy of Music on Wednesday, March 23 for a limited engagement of four weeks through Sunday, April 17 as part of the Broadway Season, presented by the Kimmel Center and the Shubert Organization. The opening night (press opening) is Friday, March 25 at 8:00 pm.

Leigh, who previously understudied the title role in the touring production, replaces Caroline Sheen, who will play her final performance in Omaha at the Orpheum Theatre on Sunday, February 6th. Leigh officially takes over the role in Omaha on Tuesday, February 8th before the show arrives at the Opera House in Boston on Thursday, February 17th for a limited engagement of five weeks through March 20th. The opening night is Friday, February 18th at 8pm. Sadler's Wells is pleased to announce the casting details for the West End opening of Richard Thomas and Stephen Mear's fabulously original musical, Shoes. Following the show's smash-hit world premiere at Sadler's Wells in September 2010, Shoes transfers to the West End's Peacock Theatre for a limited eight-week run from Tuesday 8 February - Sunday 3 April 2011.

Sheffield Theatres has today announced casting for its production of ME AND MY GIRL this December. Daniel Crossley takes the lead role of Bill Snibson, Jemima Rooper will play Sally and Miriam Margolyes will take the part of the Duchess. The production is the first musical to be staged at the Crucible following its £15.3 million redevelopment. The production will be directed by Anna Mackmin. The production will run from 2 December until 29 January 2011.
