Onstage now in Munster, Indiana's Theatre At The Center is a remarkable and fascinating (and seemingly rare) production of one of the first masterpieces of what is now known as the "rock musical," Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's youthful flash of brilliance, "Jesus Christ Superstar."

JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, the Tony Award nominated, groundbreaking theatrical masterpiece by legendary writing team Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, will be playing only at Theatre at the Center, 1040 Ridge Road, Munster, IN, July 8 through August 8. The press performance will be July 11. The first collaboration between Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice to be performed on the professional stage, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR is one of the most popular and enduring works ever created for the musical theatre. The production will star Jeff Award Winner Max Quinlan as 'Jesus' and will be Directed and Choreographed by Stacey Flaster.

The Chicago Park District's 58th annual Theater on the Lake season features reprisals of eight artistically diverse Chicago theater companies June 16 - Aug. 8, 2010. The season opens with The Second City's 50th Anniversary Revue (June 16-20) and continues with popular productions by Bohemian Theatre Ensemble (June 23-27), A Red Orchid Theatre (June 30-July 4), Baby Wants Candy (July 7-11), Strawdog Theatre Company (July 14-18), Rivendell Theatre Company (July 21-25), The Gift Theatre Company (July 28 - Aug. 1), and Caffeine Theatre (Aug. 4-8).
