In 1944, Terence Rattigan substantially revised Less Than Kind at the behest of star theatrical couple the Lunts; the result was the less political, more overtly comic Love in Idleness. Now, Trevor Nunn – inspired by Dan Rebellato's introduction in a Nick Hern Books edition of the two versions – has synthesised them, to intriguing and largely successful effect.

Ian McKellen plays 'Spooner', Patrick Stewart plays 'Hirst', Owen Teale plays 'Briggs' and Damien Molony plays 'Foster' in Sean Mathias' production of Harold Pinter's No Man's Land, which had its West End press night last night at Wyndham's Theatre following a UK tour. No Man's Land was first performed at Wyndham's in 1975 with Ralph Richardson and John Gielgud, following its premiere at the National Theatre.

It is announced today that Damien Molony, best known for his roles in BBC's Being Human and Ripper Street, will play the role of 'Foster' in Harold Pinter's No Man's Land, completing casting for the play. Molony joins the previously announced Ian McKellen as 'Spooner', Patrick Stewart as 'Hirst' and Owen Teale as 'Briggs' in Sean Mathias' production, which will tour venues across the UK from 3 August prior to a limited engagement at London's Wyndham's Theatre from 8 September.

Tony Award-winning actor Owen Teale will play Briggs in Sean Mathias's production of Harold Pinter's NO MAN'S LAND, which tours the UK in August, finishing with a limited run at Wyndham's Theatre in the West End from September. Teale joins theatrical legends Ian McKellan and Patrick Stewart, with further casting still to be announced.
