Theatre Now New York (TNNY) is pleased to announce that submissions are now being accepted for SOUND BITES 6.0, the Sixth Annual Festival of 10-Minute Musicals. This one-night only event, now in its sixth year, showcases ten new musicals by up-and-coming musical theatre writing teams.

There are less than 3 weeks remaining to submit 10-minute musicals for the Sound Bites 5.0 musical theatre festival presented by Theatre Now New York. Theatre Now New York (TNNY), Thomas Morrissey, artistic director, Chris Giordano, managing director and Stephen Bishop Seely, Literary Director presents SOUND BITES 5.0 the annual Festival of 10-minute musicals with submissions from musical theatre writers accepted now through February 1, 2018. SOUND BITES 5.0 will be held on Memorial Day, Monday May 28th, 2018 at 7:00 PM at the Irene Diamond Stage, The Pershing Square Signature Center in NYC.

Rock WILK, playwright and performer, is combing the city for fifty survivors of gun violence who are willing to share their stories with the general public. This search is the root for the campaign, '50ShotIn10Days', coinciding with the performances of his new play, Brooklyn Quartet, which deals with many subjects, including race, privilege, relationships, and the Sean Bell shooting by the NYPD on November 25, 2006.

Producer Rain Pryor is currently starring in her own critically acclaimed, solo autobiographical show "Fried Chicken and Latkes" and joins director Stephen Bishop Seely ("8 Million Protagonists") on the project.
