The first 'episode' took place on Monday, October 26, and Frank's guests included Laura Osnes and Corey Cott (the stars of THE BANDSTAND at Paper Mill Playhouse), original JERSEY BOY Daniel Reichard, Ali Stroker (one of the stars of SPRING AWAKENING) and the Tony nominated star of LEGALLY BLONDE, Orfeh. Skyline Theatre Company, Bergen County's most established professional theatre company, has named Stephanie Simons Neal as its new Managing Director. Stephanie, who will maintain her role as the company's Resident Stage Manager, succeeds Victoria Sollecito, who remains on staff and becomes Skyline's first Development Director.

STOMP will be featured on NY1 tomorrow Friday February 28 in a segment in which intrepid reporter Stephanie Simon visits the cast and gets a few lessons in how to STOMP. The segment will air first in the 11 AM hour and then be rebroadcast several times over the weekend.

The comedy is set in turbulent New York circa 2001 and examines the lives of the O'Neil family and the lives of their son Anthony's childhood friends. 50 solo singers have been chosen to compete in the fourth annual 'MetroStar Talent Challenge,' an eight-week, jury and audience-voted elimination-round competition that begins on Monday, July 11, at 7pm at The Metropolitan Room, 34 West 22nd Street.
Variety is reporting that due to a logistical decision to move the Tony Awards red carpet across the street from the Beacon theatre, and the hiring of a non-union crew to do so, the Local One union (who will work on the rest of the Awards) is threatening to protest and picket the red carpet. It's being speculated on by the trade paper that a Local One picket could result in Actors Equity members not walking the red carpet for the awards show.
