Broadway's 40 theatres aren't the only places to catch performances from your favorite stars! Well after Broadway orchestra's begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven- o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City. Below, BroadwayWorld brings you some cabaret highlights for this week as picked by our theatre editors, including: Allison Case and Andrew Kober: This is 30, Doreen Montalvo, Burtka, David, Sondheim Unplugged, and 54 Loves Billy Joel: He's Got a Way.
Spirit Award Winner and Drama Desk Award Winner Doreen Montalvo (IN THE HEIGHTS, GIANT, FLASHDANCE) will be celebrating her birthday by hosting Cabaret Cares 9, a benefit for 'Help Is On The Way Today,' a not-for-profit organization assisting children and teens living with HIV/AIDS in both New York City and Africa. The Monday, Nov. 24 show will feature performances by her talented friends, whom she calls 'The Ladies Who Rock.'
American Dance Machine for the 21st Century (ADM21) will present 15 show-stopping musical theater dance numbers performed by stars from the musical theater and dance worlds during its Joyce Theater debut today, November 11-16, announced Nikki Feirt Atkins, Founder and Executive Artistic Director and Margo Sappington, Artistic Director. All performances will feature live music and will be directed by Margo Sappington with musical direction by Eugene Gwozdz.
The Public Theater announced a four-week extension for the world premiere musical HAMILTON, with book, music, and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda. Inspired by the book 'Alexander Hamilton' by Ron Chernow and directed by Thomas Kail, HAMILTON begins performances on Tuesday, January 20 and was originally scheduled to close on Sunday, February 22. The musical will now run an additional four weeks to Sunday, March 22, with an official press opening on Tuesday, February 17.
Director/Choreographer Luis Salgado won the Best Director award last night (September 5) at the closing ceremony of the 2014 NYC Thespis Festival. Salgado was chosen out of the forty-one other shows that were part of the festival this year for his direction of Song of Solomon.
R.Evolucion Latina concluded its 7th Annual 'Dare to Go Beyond' Children's Performing Arts Camp on Friday, August 1st, with an outdoors cultural celebration held at Jackie Robinson Park. Scroll down for photos!

The 6th Annual Broadway Meows Concert for the Humane Society of New York will be presented at Don't Tell Mama, one night only, Monday, July 21st at 7pm. The evening will be comprised of songs by composer/ lyricist Seth Bisen-Hersh.

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano.
After a very successful debut concert with Sueño Pop: A Latin Pop Concert, Jose Sepulveda and SepLo Productions present the second concert in the #sueñopop series, Sueño Pop: Crossover. The one night only event will feature some of Broadway and TV's hottest young stars singing music by some of Latin Pop/Rock's biggest players including Jennifer Lopez, Ricky Martin, Enrique Iglesias and many more. Songs will be in both English and Spanish.
The cast and creative team of IF/THEN was at MSR Recording Studios in New York City today to work on the show's Original Broadway Cast Recording, which will be released by Masterworks Broadway on June 3, 2014.
