Back by popular demand for 4th Wall Theatre's final play of the season-a limited two-week engagement of the award-winning and thought-provoking one-man show Cry Havoc!

Hungry for Shakespeare? Thirty-eight of the city's most talented culinary masters, including Ben Grupe of Olio and Elaia, Bill Cardwell of Cardwell's at the Plaza and Simone Faure of La Patisserie Chouquette, will be serving up a tantalizing array of menu items and calling their creations "38 Eats" as part of one of the most diverse offerings to date during the eighth annual SHAKE 38, April 19-23, at multiple venues throughout the city. 

BEDLAM presents CRY HAVOC!, written and performed by Stephan Wolfert and directed by Eric Tucker, at New Ohio Theatre (154 Christopher Street). ???????Thirty-eight culinary masters will be whipping up some eclectic menu items and calling their creations '38 Eats' as part of one of the most adventurous offerings to date during the eighth annual SHAKE 38, April 19-23, at multiple venues throughout the city.

The Sheen Center for Thought & Culture, in partnership with Bedlam Veterans Outreach, will begin a 9 CIRCLES Talkback Series, taking place immediately following the performance on Thursday evenings (March 2, 9, and 16) and Saturday matinees (March 4, 11, and 18).

It was appropriate that two-time Tony Award winner William Finn was present at The First Annual Berkshire Theatre Award ceremony held in Pittsfield MA. on  Sunday November 13th. Mr. Finn won a Tony for The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee which was home grown up in The Berkshires at Barrington Stage Company. Although he didn't have any work in contention for the prestigious award, Finn did accept a few 'Berkies' for some artists who could not receive their awards in person.

BEDLAM must close its critically acclaimed limited engagement of SENSE & SENSIBILITY on Sunday, November 20 at the Gym at Judson (243 Thompson Street). SENSE & SENSIBILITY opened on January 24, 2016 and has extended twice. At the time of closing, the show will have played 15 preview performances and 262 regular performances.

The winners of the First Annual Berkshire Theatre Awards have been announced. Seventeen arts journalists voted on 120 nominees in 25 categories chosen from artists in the 75 live theatre productions mounted in Berkshire County and adjacent areas between October 1, 2015 and September 30, 2016.

In the last twelve months, more than 300,000 people attended a live theatre production in or around Berkshire County. With 75 stage productions employing hundreds of professionals, making theatre is an important cog in the area's cultural economy. In fact, many consider the region a hot spot for Broadway bound shows, and a popular summer destination for theatre-goers from around the nation.

?BEDLAM has announced the sold-out, award-winning and critically acclaimed production of SENSE & SENSIBILITY will continue its run at THE GYM AT JUDSON (243 Thompson Street) from Friday, June 17, 2016, through Sunday, October 2, 2016.  Following a 2 month hiatus, The Dashwood Sisters are back from their spring holiday and regular performances will resume. 

In addition to dozens of performances throughout the city, SHAKE 38 will feature its first headlining event, Cry Havoc, a one-man play written and performed by actor/veteran Stephan Wolfert, at 2 p.m. on Sat., April 23 at the St. Louis Public Library - Central Branch.
