Santa Monica Playhouse presents Dog Sees God Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead. This is a benefit produced by Cappricielli, Inc. and the Free Your Mind Projects. All net proceeds via ticket sales and crowd sourcing will be donated to the Trevor Project, a charity focusing on mental health, anti-bullying, and suicide prevention. Dog Sees God Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead plays from Saturday, December 6th through Sunday, December 21st.

The Harold Clurman Playwrights Division, a program of the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, has announced that writer Sam Byron was selected to be Playwright-in-Residence for 2015. Previous residents include Dennis Staroselsky, Halley Feiffer, Mia Chung, Anton Dudley, Christina Gorman, Zayd Dohrn, and Peter Nickowitz. Over two hundred writers submitted applications and full-length plays for consideration in the annual merit-based search.

William Shakespeare's bawdy, riotous romp, The Merry Wives of Windsor, comes to life at Centenary Stage Company for the tenth installment of the Great Authors Out Loud Series.
