Centenary Stage Company presents the world premiere of Randall Duk Kim and Anne Occhiogrosso starring in "Then Came Each Actor," a celebration of and tribute to the legendary actors and actresses of the great classical stage tradition -- Sarah Siddons, Henry Irving, Julia Marlowe, Edwin Booth, Sarah Bernhardt, Eleonora Duse, Paul Robeson, Morris Carnovsky and Phoebe Brand -- whose body of work and lives on and off the stage have inspired Kim and Occhiogrosso for over four decades.
Masterworks Theater Company is proud to announce the cast for the first show of their season: The Glass Menagerie by Tennessee Williams. Directed by Christopher Scott, The Glass Menagerie will feature Saundra Santiago ("The Sopranos"), Richard Prioleau (HBO's "A Normal Heart") as Tom, Olivia Washington (Lee Daniels' The Butler), as Laura, and Doug Harris (The Found Dog Ribbon Dance) as Jim. Martha Wilson, founding director of Franklin Furnace, invited the burgeoning artists to present their work at Pratt Manhattan Gallery after visiting the class in fall 2014. Curated by Leonie Ettinger, the programming is inspired by Wilson's body of work and the myriad experimental performances embedded in Franklin Furnace's history.
