Terry Martin, Producing Artistic Director, today announced details of the 2015 Spotlight Gala, Madmen, Music & Martinis. WaterTower Theatre's 2015 Spotlight Gala will be held later in the season on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 7 pm, and at a new venue, the Intercontinental Hotel in Addison in the 1960s style Malachite room. The 2015 Spotlight Gala is chaired by April Bosworth. The evening's entertainment features Hunter Sullivan and his band.

WaterTower Theatre (WTT) has announced the election of Derek Blount as President of the Board of Directors, serving for a fifth term. WTT also announced the election of a slate of Board Officers including Vice President, Ben Cunningham, Secretary, Katie Myatt, and Treasurer, Jimmy Niemann.

The party will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at WaterTower Theatre from 7 pm to midnight. THE COMMUNITY CAST PARTY is designed to attract a wide audience of patrons who are interested in supporting WaterTower Theatre while enjoying an evening of dancing and entertainment with cuisine offered from many fine local restaurants . Attendees will have a unique opportunity to mix and mingle with many artists from the DFW acting community at the 'open house' style event, and everyone is welcome.

Terry Martin, WaterTower Theatre Producing Artistic Director and Derek Blount, President of the Board of Directors, today announced key leadership appointments to a number of important committees: Chairing the annual Spotlight Gala 2015 will be April Bosworth; Co-Chairing a new community fundraising initiative in the fall called The Community Cast Party is April Bosworth, Stan Graner and Debbie Staggs; Co-Chairing another new program called The President's Circle will be Barbara Daseke and Stan Graner, and Co-Chairing The Corporate Council (with Derek Blount) will be Jeff Laceky.

The theme for this year's Gala is 'What the World Needs Now: A Tribute to Burt Bacharach.' Singer/Actress Liz Mikel will perform an evening of well-known Bacharach hits along with some very 'special friends.'

The cast features several WaterTower Theatre favorites including Pam Dougherty as Mama Lilly, Stan Graner as Fred Rose (Pap), Mikaela Krantz as Audrey Williams, Joseph Holt as Leon (Loudmouth) and Sonny Franks as Jimmy (Burrhead). The cast also includes Major Attaway as Tee-Tot, Christia Mantzke as The Waitress, Dave Rankin as Hoss and Dennis Bailey as Shag.
