Chance Theater Proudly Presents the West Coast Premiere of CLAUDIO QUEST

Chance Theater, Anaheim's official resident theater company, is pleased to announce its West Coast premiere production of … Claudio Quest. With music, lyrics and book by Drew Fornarola and Marshall Pailet, direction by Pailet, choreography by Maxx Reed and musical direction by Ryan O'Connell, Claudio Quest will preview from January 27 through February 3; regular performances will begin February 4 and continue through February 26 at Chance Theater @ Bette Aitken theater arts Center on the Cripe Stage.

Chance Theater Presents THE EIGHT: REINDEER MONOLOGUES

Chance Theater is pleased to present its 13th annual production of the irreverent, raunchy and pitch-black dark holiday satire… The Eight: Reindeer Monologues. Written by Jeff Goode, directed by Resident Artist Alex Bueno, and associate directed by Resident Artist James McHale.  The Eight: Reindeer Monologues will perform December 8 through December 23 on the Fyda-Mar Stage at Chance Theater @ Bette Aitken theater arts Center.

EDWARD ALBEE'S THE PLAY ABOUT THE BABY Extends Again at the Road Theatre Company

The Road Theatre Company and Taylor Gilbert, Founder/Artistic Director together with Sam Anderson, Artistic Director, have announced that their critically-acclaimed (LA Times CRITICS CHOICE, Stage Raw TOP TEN) first show of its 2016-2017 season, EDWARD ALBEE'S THE PLAY ABOUT THE BABY, written by Tony award-winning playwright Edward Albee and directed by Andre Barron, is extending again, now through Saturday, December 10 at the Road Theatre Company's second home, The Road on Magnolia, located in The NoHo Senior Arts Colony, 10747 Magnolia Blvd. in North Hollywood.

Native Voices at the Autry Presents the 6th Annual Short Play Festival TAKE BACK THE LAND

Continuing its role as the only Equity theatre company dedicated exclusively to developing new work by Native American artists, Native Voices at the Autry presents its sixth annual Short Play Festival: Take Back the Land. Held during the Autry Museum of the American West's American Indian Arts Marketplace on Sunday, November 13, 2016, the event features new short plays by Native American playwrights exploring environmental issues.

Chance Theater Proudly Presents LITTLE WOMEN -THE BROADWAY MUSICAL

Anaheim's official resident theater company, Chance Theater is pleased to remount the heartwarming and wondrous Little Women - The Broadway Musical. Book by Allan Knee, music by Jason Howland, lyrics by Mindi Dickstein, directed by Casey Long, associate direction by Sarah Figoten Wilson, and music direction by Bill Strongin. Little Women - The Broadway Musical will preview from November 25 through December 2, regular performances will begin December 3 and continue through December 23 on the Cripe Stage at Chance Theater @ Bette Aitken theater arts Center.

After two previous sold-out engagements, Feinstein's at the Nikko welcomes the return of Tony Award nominee Megan Hilty for three performances only - Friday, December 16 (8 p.m.), Saturday, December 17 (7 p.m.) and Sunday, December 18 (3 p.m.).

Save the Date for the 27th Annual LA STAGE Alliance Ovation Awards

LA STAGE Alliance has announced that the 27th Annual Ovation Awards ceremony will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at the Ahmanson Theatre at The Music Center. Red carpet arrivals begin at 6pm and the curtain will rise at 7:30pm. A reception in the Grand Hall of the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion will follow the ceremony.

Chuck Yates, Artistic Director of Coyote StageWorks, Announces Starry 2016-17 Season at The Annenberg Theatre

Coyote StageWorks, the Coachella Valley-based award-winning Actors' Equity professional theater company, announced its eighth season that will run throughout 2016-2017. Dubbed "Legendary Ladies," the schedule of performances will include the Company's signature one-night-only benefit and productions of two beloved stage plays, all presented at the Annenberg Theater, located inside the Palm Springs Art Museum. Center Theatre Group Receives 76 Submissions for Block Party at the Douglas

Center Theatre Group received submissions from 76 local theatre companies from North Hollywood to San Pedro, Topanga to Sierra Madre for the inaugural Block Party: Celebrating Los Angeles Theatre at the Kirk Douglas Theatre. Block Party will highlight some of the remarkable work being done on stages throughout Los Angeles by fully producing three previously staged productions.

Photo Flash: Unbound Productions Announces Line-Up for 4th Annual WICKED LIT

Unbound Productions Executive Director Jonathan Josephson, Artistic Director Paul Millet, and Producing Artistic Director Jeff G. Rack have announced the plays that will be included in WICKED LIT 2016, the company's 8th annual immersive theatre event that will for the 7th year take place at Mountain View Mausoleum and Cemetery in Altadena, California. The production will run from October 1-November 12, 2016 and feature world premiere adaptations of HP Lovecraft's From Beyond adapted by Trey Nichols (The Car Plays), directed by Jeff G. Rack (The Fall of the House of Usher, WL15); Anansi and the Demons adapted by Jonathan Josephson (The Grove of Rashomon, WL15, 2016 Samuel French Off-Off Broadway Festival), directed by Jaime Robledo (The Ebony Frame, WL15; Astroboy and the God of Comics, Sacred Fools); and Ellen Glasgow's The Shadowy Third, adapted by Paul Millet (The Fall of the House of Usher, WL15), directed by Bruce Gray (Black Coffee, Theatre 40). The frame for the show will be Camp Mountain View, written by Josephson and directed by Millet. The frame includes pre-show performances as well entertainment during the evening's two intervals.
