University of Montana Presents THE FRYBREAD QUEEN, 9/17

Upstream Theater presents OEDIPUS KING (Oedipus Tyrannos) by Sophocles, in an English version by David Slavitt, directed by Philip Boehm. Our production of this iconic work about a man fated to kill his father and marry his mother features J. Samuel Davis* as Oedipus and Amy Loui* as Jocasta, along with John Bratkowski*, Christopher Harris*, Dennis Lebby*, Laurie McConnell*, Peter Mayer*, & Emily Piro (*indicates member, Actors' Equity Association).

SoHo Rep Presents ORANGE, HAT & GRACE 9/23

Off-Broadway's eleven-time Obie Award-winning Soho Rep - which the New York Times calls the 'downtown powerhouse' - will kick off its 2010-2011 season with the much anticipated world-premiere of ORANGE, HAT & GRACE by Gregory S. The Tank Presents Sophocles' PHILOCTETES, 9/23-24

The Tank and Full Circle Theatre Company present Public Domain, a monthly staged reading series featuring plays in the public domain with no copyright restrictions. Once a play has entered public domain, it belongs to everyone. It becomes ours to do with as we please. As such, we thought it'd be cool if we offered up some of the creative decision-making to our audiences. We've selected our first seven plays, and seven directors with very different approaches. We had our audiences assign a play to each director.

A.R.T. Announces Creative Teams for the 2010/11 Season

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.), under the Artistic Direction of Diane Paulus, is pleased to announce further details of its 2010/11 Season, beginning on August 31 with Cabaret, followed by Alice vs. Wonderland, The Blue Flower, R. Buckminster Fuller - The History (and mystery) of the Universe, Ajax, Prometheus Bound, and Death and the Powers: The Robots' Opera.
