ArtsBridge Foundation, the arts education outreach arm of the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, today announced the nominees for the 2015 Georgia High School Musical Theater Awards - Shuler Hensley Awards in a live streaming broadcast on WSBTV.com. Twenty four (24) public and private schools from throughout the state were nominated in 17 categories. The awards, which showcase the next generation of Georgia's musical theater talent, will be presented live at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre on April 23 in an Awards Show hosted by WSB-TV's Fred Blankenship and Wendy Corona.

The first production in Town Hall Arts Center's 2014-2015 Season will be How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, music and lyrics by Frank Loesser, book by Jack Weinstock, Abe Burrows & Willie Gilbert. How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying is directed by Robert Wells, recently at Town Hall directing the 2014 production of Boeing-Boeing. Musical direction is by Donna Kolpan Debreceni, Henry Award Winner, The Who's Tommy and choreographed by Kelly Kates, most recently here for the 2014 production of The Music Man.
"The Fantasticks" is the world's longest running musical, having played for over 52 years in Manhattan and entranced generations of audiences the world over. Many actors have appeared in the show over those five decades, and when Panic! Productions mounts this beloved classic in Thousand Oaks, directed and choreographed by Joshua Finkel, three accomplished actresses who played the lead role of Luisa in New York will be special audience guests.
