Earlier this month Project Nunway LA (http://www.projectnunwayla.info) the Outrageous Fashion Show & Designer Competition raised $15,000 this year. The money will be donated to LIFE GROUP LA (www.lifegroupla.org) & BEING ALIVE LA (www.beingalivela.org/).

Just yesterday, Facebook sent out an apology to LGBT users following its recent policy that forced real names on individual's Facebook profiles. In the past, users have been able to make profiles using whatever name they go by in day-to-day life, but in recent cases concerning transgender users and drag performers, this policy has not been upheld. One specific user, Sister Roma, was told to either change her profile to reflect her legal name or convert her profile to a fan page.
