"The new season, our 48th season at the Music Center of Los Angeles," said Ritchie, "will include from Broadway two hit musicals and a celebrated drama - the magical 'Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella,' the mischievous 'Matilda The Musical' and the much beloved Cicely Tyson in Horton Foote's exquisite 'The Trip to Bountiful.'
Melbourne Theatre Company has announced the appointment of four Assistant Directors for Season 2014. Tanya Dickson will work on Private Lives, Kat Henry on The Speechmaker, Kim Hardwick on Ghosts and John Kachoyan on Pennsylvania Avenue, joining the company as part of MTC's paid Assistant Directors Program for emerging or mid-career artists.

Melbourne Theatre Company today announced its Chairman, Derek Young AM, will retire from the Board after nineteen years of outstanding service to the Company. Current board member Terry Moran AC was elected unanimously to the role as Chairman from January 2014.
Barry Humphries' Eat Pray Love! tour will set out across the UK this fall. Directed by Simon Phillips, the show will, of course, feature Humphries' well-known alter ego 'Dame Edna Everage'.
