No Rules Theatre Co. offers a cure to the winter blues with a witty modern day love story. In Love And Warcraft, written by Madhuri Shekar and directed by NRTC Artistic Director Joshua Morgan, chronicles the hilarious happenings when the two worlds of online gaming and in person relationships collide on a college campus. Performances are January 7 to 25 in the The Ark at Signature Theatre, Arlington. Tickets are $25 to $38 and available at www.norulestheatre.org or through the box office at (703) 820-9771.

The Board of Governors of Le Petit Theatre du Vieux Carre announced the hiring of Maxwell Williams, Associate Artistic Director of the highly regarded Hartford Stage in Connecticut, as the theatre's new Artistic Director. Williams has been a member of the Hartford Stage artistic team for several years, serving as Associate Artistic Director for the past three seasons. Hartford Stage seasons regularly include world premieres of plays and musicals by established and emerging writers, including the 2011 Pulitzer Prize winner Water by the Spoonful and the recent Broadway hit, A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder.

Alysha Umphress, currently starring in the new Broadway revival of ON THE TOWN, and Tony Award-nominated composer and performer Jeff Blumenkrantz will celebrate their new album, I've Been Played: Alysha Umphress Swings Jeff Blumenkrantz with a concert at Birdland (315 W. 44th Street, New York, NY 10036) on January 5, 2015 at 7pm. Bowman Wright, last seen as Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in Arena Stage's The Mountaintop, will tackle the role of King in August Wilson's classic drama King Hedley II at Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater. Wright joins the previously announced E. Faye Butler as Ruby. Under the direction of Timothy Douglas, King Hedley II runs February 6-March 8, 2015 in the Fichandler Stage.

The Muny announced today the directors, choreographers and music directors for the Muny's 2015 Season, which opens on June 15 with My Fair Lady. Sherlock Holmes battles one of his greatest mysteries to date at Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater in Ken Ludwig's Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery, a world-premiere adaptation from Tony Award-winning playwright Ludwig (Broadway's Lend Me a Tenor). Adapted from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's beloved The Hound of the Baskervilles, this fast-paced comedic tale of murder, intrigue and a wild hound is directed by Amanda Dehnert (Arena Stage's The Fantasticks) as part of Arena Stage's 65th anniversary season. A co-production with McCarter Theatre Center, Ken Ludwig's Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery runs January 16-February 22, 2015 in the Kreeger Theater.

Signature Theatre's world premiere of Katori Hall's Our Lady of Kibeho, directed by Tony Award nominee Michael Greif, will play its final eight performances this week through Sunday, December 14th only. The production opened to critical acclaim on Sunday, November 16 in The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues).
