Roundabout's THE WINSLOW BOY Enters Final Week of Performances

Roundabout Theatre Company's (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) production of The Winslow Boy will conclude its limited engagement on December 1, 2013 at 2:00PM. The Winslow Boy, directed by Lindsay Posner, stars Michael Cumpsty, Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, Alessandro Nivola and Roger Rees.

It's Official! Sutton Foster to Return to Broadway in VIOLET; Show Set for Limited Run at American Airlines Theatre Starting in Late March

It's Official! Sutton Foster is coming BACK to Broadway, as Roundabout Theatre Company has just announced that it will present two-time Tony Award winner Sutton Foster in a Broadway production of VIOLET (first seen as part of Encores! Off-Center concert series in 2013), directed by Leigh Silverman. Based on the short story 'The Ugliest Pilgrim' by Doris Betts, VIOLET features music by Jeanine Tesori and book & lyrics by Brian Crawley. VIOLET will be produced in association with Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino, David Mirvish, Barry and Fran Weissler, Elizabeth Armstrong, and Mary Jo and Ted Shen.

The Laurie Beechman theatre was filled to capacity on Monday, November 4th for the Emerson College BFA Showcase featuring the BFA Acting and BFA Musical Theatre Class of 2013. Industry professionals hoping to find new cast members for their next projects and Emerson Alumni showed up to support and welcome the talented group to show business. Award-winning Pipeline Theatre Company in association with Judson Arts presents the World Premiere of BYUIOO, a musical with book, music and lyrics by Nate Weida. This folk gospel musical, presented in an entirely made-up language, will be directed by Andrew Neisler (Pipeline's acclaimed hit Clown Bar) featuring a cast of sixteen. Previews begin October 26 at The Gym at Judson with opening slated for October 31.

Roundabout's DINNER WITH FRIENDS to Begin Previews Jan 17

Roundabout Theatre Company has announced that Dinner with Friends by Pulitzer Prize winnerDonald Margulies, directed by Tony Award winner Pam MacKinnon will open on February 13, 2014. The cast will include Jeremy Shamos as 'Gabe,' Darren Pettie as 'Tom', Marin Hinkle as 'Karen,' and Maria Dizzia as 'Beth.'

Pipeline Theatre Company to Present Benefit Performance of BYUIOO, 10/30

Award-winning Pipeline Theatre Company in association with Judson Arts presents the World Premiere of BYUIOO, a musical with book, music and lyrics by Nate Weida. This folk gospel musical, presented in an entirely made-up language, will be directed by Andrew Neisler (Pipeline's acclaimed hit Clown Bar) featuring a cast of sixteen. Previews begin October 26 at The Gym at Judson with opening slated for October 31. The company will also present a special benefit performance on Wednesday, October 30 at 8PM to benefit Nomi Network, which provides training and economic opportunities for survivors and women at risk of human trafficking. This special benefit performance will include an introduction by the Nomi community, a talk back with the cast and creative team of Byuioo, and a wine reception.
