Double LTR Productions' MOM BABY GOD kicks off its national tour and makes its New York premiere on Friday, October 18th at 5pm at TADA! Theatre, 15 W 28th St. New York, NY 10001. Award-winning Pipeline Theatre Company in association with Judson Arts presents the World Premiere of BYUIOO, a musical with book, music and lyrics by Nate Weida. This folk gospel musical, presented in an entirely made-up language, will be directed by Andrew Neisler (Pipeline's acclaimed hit Clown Bar) featuring a cast of sixteen. Previews begin October 26 at The Gym at Judson with opening slated for October 31.

Producers Tom Kirdahy, Paula Wagner & Debbie Bisno, and Alan and Barbara Marks & Wade Turnbull announced today that Mothers and Sons, the new play by four-time Tony Award-winning playwright Terrence McNally, is slated to open on Broadway in Spring, 2014. Tony and Emmy Award-winner Tyne Dalyis set to star in the production, with direction by Tony Award-nominee Sheryl Kaller. More information, including additional star casting and theater, will follow. Mothers and Sons had its world premiere production at Bucks County Playhouse (Jed Bernstein, Producing Director) on June 14, 2013.

Eric Rosen, artistic director of Kansas City Repertory Theatre, has announced a major change in its 2013-14 season line up, beginning with the removal of One Night with Janis Joplin from the schedule. The musical tribute, based on the life and music of the late Janis Joplin, written and directed by Randy Johnson, was to have its pre-Broadway production at Spencer Theatre, September 20-October 13. The show's producers have decided instead that it will go directly to the Lyceum Theatre in New York, where performances will begin September 20.
