Sam Harris Brings 'Stripped' To San Diego And Hollywood

Platinum selling recording artist and Tony Award nominated actor Sam Harris is set to bring his new show Stripped to Martinis Above Fourth in San Diego on February 21 and Catalina Bar & Grill in Hollywood on February 22 and 23, it was announced today by Chris Isaacson Presents. Along with his longtime musical director Todd Schroeder, Harris will perform Broadway and pop songs from his stellar 30-year career. No band, no backup singers. Just two musical stars and a piano.

Gordon Nicolson Kiltmakers based on the Royal Mile kindly donated kilts and accessories to the Four Seasons Michael Watson (Frankie Valli), Simon Bailey (Tommy DeVito), Lewis Griffiths (Nick Massi) and Declan Egan (Bob Gaudio) who will play to over 27,000 people across the run!

An all Female Stand-up Comedy Festival Comes to New Jersey

An all female stand-up comedy festival comes to central, New Jersey, with a bold message that "females are funnier". The Cracking Up In Rahway All-Female Comedy Festival debuts on Friday, April 12, 2019, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., at Tabula Rasa Gallery & Event Space, 1645 Irving Street, Rahway, New Jersey 07065. The festival features a diverse line-up of female comedians, an open-mic contest, and an audience driven improv workshop. This event marks the 3-year anniversary of the Cracking Up In Rahway series of comedy showcases.

Outgoing President of the CAS, Mark Ulano announced the results of the Board of Directors election.  “This is a bittersweet moment for me as I pass the leadership of the CAS after terming out from four years of serving as the President of the CAS.  I am thrilled to pass the gavel to Karol Urban CAS as the incoming President.  And I welcome the newly elected board as well as the incumbents,” said Ulano. “The depth of talent on this board tells me we have a deep bench and that the future of the organization is in good hands.”

The Eli and Edythe Broad Stage in Santa Monica presents concerts with violist Richard Yongjae O'Neill, its artist in residence.  On Sunday, March 3, O'Neill performs a program of British composers -- Britten, Bowen, Bridge, Carter and Clarke with pianist Steven Lin; he closes on Sunday, May 26 with a program called L.A. Masters with works by Stravinsky, Schoenberg and Brahms with Jennifer Frautschi (violin), Jesse Mills (violin), Fred Sherry (cello), and Orion Weiss (piano).

Alberta Theatre Projects Announces Their 2019/2020 Season

The new season includes a world premiere, two hot-button dramas, a classic children's fantasy, a rock concert/music-theatre mash-up, and a party you won't want to miss. Alberta Theatre Projects announced their 48th season line-up that will run from September 2019 to May 2020. With a return to a six-play season and longer show runs, the season is the first programmed by ATP's Executive and Artistic Director Darcy Evans.
