Lyrics & Lyricists gets going on the opening show of its 45th season with "A Good Thing Going: The Stephen Sondheim and Harold Prince Collaboration" on January 10, 11 and 12. Artistic director David Loud, himself a frequent Sondheim collaborator, explores the 1970-1981 partnership behind the groundbreaking musicals Company, Follies, A Little Night Music, Pacific Overtures, Sweeney Todd and Merrily We Roll Along - with cast members Kate Baldwin, Heidi Blickenstaff, Liz Callaway, James Clow, Jason Danieley, and Alan H. Green.

Yellow Sound Label has announced the release of the world premiere recording of Stars of David on December 16 on iTunes and Amazon.com The album is produced by Michael Croiter (Matilda, Heathers, Big Fish) and Executive Produced by Daryl Roth, featuring the talents of Alex Brightman, Joanna Glushak, Janet Metz, Brad Oscar, Alan Schmuckler, Aaron Serotsky, and Donna Vivino. 59E59 Theaters will host the New York premiere of EVERYBODY GETS CAKE!, created and performed by Joel Jeske, Danny Gardner and Brent McBeth, and directed by Mark Lonergan. The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities will open She Loves Me directed by Gavin Mayer tonight, November 25 at 7:30 p.m. The musical will run through December 21 in the Main Stage Theater. Previews are November 21 - 23 at 7:30 p.m. nightly.

The White Theatre inside the Jewish Community Center in Overland Park, Kansas presents Fiddler on the Roof through November 23. Steven Eubank directs the classic musical, with musical direction by Daniel Doss. This is the second production Eubank has directed for the theater. Doss has been involved in over 50 musicals in the Kansas City area.
