A brand new production of one of the greatest musicals in history, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF starring Australian superstar Anthony Warlow, will open at Melbourne's Princess Theatre on December 29th playing for 6 weeks only.

Roundabout celebrates it's 50th anniversary season this year with an outstanding lineup of productions. Included are: Clive Owen, Eve Best and Kelly Reilly in Old Times by Harold Pinter, directed by Douglas Hodge; Andrea Martin, Campbell Scott, Tracee Chimo, Daniel Davis, David Furr, Kate Jennings Grant, Megan Hilty, Rob McClure and Jeremy Shamos in Noises Off by Michael Frayn, directed by Jeremy Herrin; The Humans by Stephen Karam, directed by Joe Mantello; Keira Knightley, Gabriel Ebert, Matt Ryan and Judith Light in a new adaptation of Therese Raquin by Helen Edmundson, based upon the novel by Emile Zola, directed by Evan Cabnet; Laura Benanti, Josh Radnor, Rene Auberjonois, Gavin Creel, Michael McGrath and Jane Krakowski in She Loves Me by Joe Masteroff, Sheldon Harnick and Jerry Bock, directed by Scott Ellis; Jessica Lange, Gabriel Byrne, Michael Shannon and John Gallagher, Jr. in Long Day's Journey Into Night by Eugene O'Neill, directed by Jonathan Kent. The 2015-2016 Roundabout Underground production is Ugly Lies the Bone, a new play by Lindsey Ferrentino, directed by Patricia McGregor. Summer is on its way out, but Connecticut theaters are heating up with some exciting offerings this fall. Theater lovers have the best of both worlds here in the Nutmeg State: Broadway is just down the road, but we never even have to leave home to see exceptional theater thanks to the bevy of professional theaters that call Connecticut home too. This season looks particularly exciting and I'll share with you what I am most looking forward to reviewing this fall. There are other great shows scheduled this fall as well as through the 2016 season, but in the interest of space, I will concentrate on top picks for this fall.

Panic! Productions begins its 2015-2016 season with the classic musical, She Loves Me, tonight, September 11 through the 27th, at the Hillcrest Center for the Arts in Thousand Oaks.

The upcoming Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof begins performances November 20 for an opening night on December 20, 2015 at The Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway). Below, BroadwayWorld has a brand new promo for the musical, set to the opening number -- 'Tradition'!

Tweiss Productions and Nicholas James Opalenik/Event Horizon Productions will present a helluva show in Times Square this October, the original musical Hell's Belles, with book and lyrics by Bryan D. Leys and music by Steve Liebman. Hell's Belles will begin performances at The Elektra Theatre at The Times Square Arts Center (300 West 43rd Street) on October 3, opening October 24 for a limited run through December 27, 2015. The show features direction by John Znidarsic, music direction by Mary Feinsinger, and musical staging by Eugenio Contenti. BroadwayWorld has confirmed additional casting for the upcoming Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof: JENNY ROSE BAKER (Annie Get Your Gun) will play Shprintze, MICHAEL BERNARDI will play Mordcha, JENNIFER ZETLAN will play Shaindel, and MATT MOISEY and TESS PRIMACK will also join the cast.

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) announced Zachary Levi (Georg) will star alongside Laura Benanti (Amalia), Rene? Auberjonois (Maraczek), Gavin Creel (Kodaly), Michael McGrath (Sipos) and Jane Krakowski (Ilona) in a new Broadway production of SHE LOVES ME, directed by Scott Ellis, choreographed by Warren Carlyle with musical direction by Paul Gemignani. This classic musical comedy features a book by Joe Masteroff, lyrics by Sheldon Harnick and music by Jerry Bock.

The York Theatre Company, dedicated to the development of new musicals and preserving musical gems from the past, in association with Arnold Mittelman and the National Jewish Theater Foundation, has announced the complete cast for the world premiere production of Rothschild & Sons, an intimate one-act reimagining of the Tony nominated musical The Rothschilds, with music by Jerry Bock, lyrics by Sheldon Harnick, and book by Sherman Yellen.

In addition, JESSICA VOSK (The Bridges of Madison County) will play Fruma Sarah, AARON YOUNG will play Sasha, and JULIE BENKO (Les Misérables), JESSE KOVARSKY (The Death of Klinghoffer), and SILVIA VRSKOVA will also join the cast.

At the top of her show, SEE JANE SING!, Jane Lynch jokes that she always wanted to be the kind of TV celebrity that held an audience hostage for an hour as she dabbled in the art of cabaret. Luckily for us, deft comedienne Lynch surprises the audience by being a fantastic singer, leaving the audience begging her for more encores.

The marquee for the new FIDDLER ON THE ROOF revival, starring Danny Burstein, is now up! Performances will begin on Thursday, November 12, 2015, with an opening night scheduled for Thursday, December 17, 2015, at The Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway). Grammy and Emmy Award-winner Joe Raposo and Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize winner Sheldon Harnick's uplifting musical A Wonderful Life reminds us how one person's life can touch that of so many others. Based on the beloved 1946 holiday movie classic, this charming musical is sure to inspire and entertain. A Wonderful Life will run September 18 through November 29 at the Goodspeed Opera House in East Haddam, Conn.
