ATY is opening its 2015/2016 season with two fabulous, fun, and funny shows.

"The Phantom Tollbooth Jr" by Arnold Black, Sheldon Harnick, and Norton Juster is a musical adaptation of the whimsical and educational children's book of the same name. Join every day boy Milo on a journey through fantastical journey through an enchanted world!

"The Seussification of Romeo and Juliet" by Peter Bloedel dares to ask the question "What if Doctor Seuss wrote the works of William Shakespeare". Get ready to laugh along to Romeo and Juliet like you've never seen it before in this riotous comedy, chock full of goofy inventions, word play, and lots and lots of rhymes.

The Shows run Friday and Saturday evening, and Saturday afternoon from October 16th through October 24th. Please check our website for more information! Shows will take place at Out North Contemporary Art House. Rehearsals will begin in early September, and will run 5 nights a week.

Auditions are on Saturday, August 22nd and Sunday, August 23rd, 3pm-6pm at Out North Art House (3800 Debarr Road). Please be prepared to stay for the whole audition.

Our directors ask that all auditioners please bring in a recent photograph, if able (something off of facebook or your phone is just fine). Please also prepare a 1 minute or less monologue (memorization preferred, but not necessary). This can be from a play, movie, book, poem, or even a joke!. If you are interested in performing in the musical " The Phantom Tollbooth Jr", please also prepare 30 seconds to a minute of music, to be sung either a capella or with CD accompaniment.
If the directors deem it necessary, there will be a brief callback Wednesday, August 26th.
