The Women's City Club of New York (WCC), a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of New Yorkers, hosted its centennial Civic Spirit Awards Dinner on Thursday, April 21 honoring five women for their contributions to society through philanthropy, advocacy, and leadership. Broadway & TV actress Ali Stroker (Spring Awakening, GLEE) and Orange is the New Black co-star Lin Tucci are set to star in a special production of Eve Ensler's award-winning play The Vagina Monologues which will tour a group of N.Y. State Correctional Facilities in April from 4/18-4/22 for V-Day (www.vday.org), the global activist movement which aims to end violence against women & girls.
Einstein's Gift opened on Thursday, October 6 at 6:30pm and BroadwayWorld was there! The show's run coincides with the nationwide centennial celebration of Albert Einstein's 'miracle year' and the fiftieth anniversary of his death.
