Village Halloween Ball at Theater for the New City Set for Halloween Night

Nonstop theater, a costume competition and ballroom dancing will bewitch the East Village in Theater for the New City's 38th annual Village Halloween Costume Ball on Friday, October 31 at TNC, 155 First Avenue. This unique festival continues as a grand coming-together for everyday New Yorkers and artists alike. A carefree fall tradition, it celebrates the creativity that comes with the season.

Confirmed! DOCTOR ZHIVAGO Planned for Broadway in April of 2015

Earlier this month, BroadwayWorld.com exclusively broke the news that Doctor Zhivago is headed to Broadway in early 2015. The show will likely replace RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN'S CINDERELLA at the Broadway Theatre after that production closes on January 3, 2015.

WHITE COLLAR Begins Sixth, Final Season 11/6

USA announced today that its hit original drama series WHITE COLLAR will air its sixth and final season beginning Thursday, November 6 at 9/8c, followed by the return of the international espionage drama, COVERT AFFAIRS, at 10/9c. From Fox Television Studios and creator Jeff Eastin (GRACELAND), WHITE COLLAR returns with EMMY nominee Matt Bomer and Tim DeKay, as well as Tiffani Thiessen, Willie Garson, Sharif Atkins and Marsha Thomason.

Playwrights' Center Sets 2014-15 Fellows & Core Writers

The Playwrights' Center today announced its 2014-15 roster of playwriting fellows and new Core Writers, who together will receive more than $200,000 in awards and additional development funds. The Playwrights' Center is an internationally renowned play development center and artist service organization dedicated to supporting the development of playwrights and new plays. Core Writers and fellows are selected by independent panels composed of nationally recognized theater artists and leaders.
