Director of Nuffield Southampton Theatres, Samuel Hodges, today announces Labour MP, Jess Phillips will join the writing team for the world premiere of Women In Power. The production sees some of the UK's most influential female voices, including Wendy Cope, Jenny Eclair, Suhayla El-Bushra, Natalie Haynes, Shappi Khorsandi and Brona C Titley, come together to write this musical comedy based on the Greek classic, The Assemblywomen. Directed by NST Associate Director Blanche McIntyre, the production opens on 6 September at NST City and runs until 29 September.

The National Theatre's production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time has welcomed a new cast to the West End production, and last night (30 June 2015) held a special gala performance with celebrity V.I.P. guests at the Gielgud Theatre. Last month the play was one of the big winners at the Tony Awards® in New York, winning 5 awards including Best New Play. The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time recently extended booking in London, releasing over 120,000 tickets and is now booking until 13 February 2016.
