Josh Widdicombe, Milton Jones, Shappi Khorsandi Primed For Ealing Comedy Festival

Ealing Comedy Festival is back for its 25th consecutive year with a stellar line up of internationally renowned comedians and homegrown talent to keep you entertained throughout July.

Kicking off the line up this year will be 'The Last Leg' star and one of the nation's best loved comics, Josh Widdicombe. From working on Nickelodeon's Dora the Explorer magazine, to selling out three UK comedy tours and bagging regular TV appearances on BBC One's 'Mock The Week' and Channel 4's '8 Out Of 10 Cats', Josh has come a long way in recent years and shows no signs of slowing down. Alongside running his own BBC Three sitcom 'Josh', he recently hosted one-off comedy show 'Josh Widdicombe Will Make Your Life Better' on BBC Radio 2, alongside presenter and comedian Harry Hill.

Joining Josh will be the undisputed champion of surrealist one-liners, Milton Jones. Fresh off the back of a colossal 109 date tour, which saw 48 additional dates added due to high demand, Milton is at the top of the game. With multiple series of his Silver Sony Award-winning radio show and appearances on 'Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow', 'Live at the Apollo', and Dave's 'One Night Stand' behind him, Milton promises to deliver a side-splitting show in July.

Meanwhile, former Ealing resident and stand-up star Shappi Khorsandi will be making a long-awaited return to the festival, following the release of her critically acclaimed novel, Nina is Not OK, while award-winning US comedian Reginald D. Hunter will also be welcomed to the stage.

Other acts to join the line up include Nish Kumar, Stephen K. Amos, Jo Caulfield, Paul Zerdin, Jake Lambert, Tom Stade and Joanne McNally, with many more listed below and others yet to be announced.

To celebrate the 25th year of the comedy festival, the gala evenings - 26th and 27th July - will feature comics who have performed throughout the festival's rich history of showcasing the best local and international comics.

Over the years, Ealing Comedy Festival has been developed in partnership with Ealing Council and The Event Umbrella to become one of the most ambitious and affordable comedy festivals in the UK.

Tickets for the shows, which will take place between 19th - 20th and 25th - 27th July in Walpole Park, are on sale now. Keep up to date with all the latest news by following the festival on Twitter @Ealing_Summer and Facebook @ealingsummer.
