The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Executive Director Patrick Willingham) presents Ethan Lipton's NO PLACE TO GO for a limited engagement at Joe's Pub, closing tonight April 8th. Directed by Leigh Silverman and written by Ethan Lipton with music composed by Ethan Lipton and His Orchestra, NO PLACE TO GO is the first Joe's Pub commission, as part of its New York Voices Series, to become part of The Public Theater's season.

Joe's Pub, the beloved live performance venue at The Public Theater and a vital part of New York City's cultural landscape, reopened last week, October 4, after a three month hiatus while undergoing an extensive interior redesign and renovation, spearheaded by original designer and Joe's Pub, LLC partner Serge Becker. Serving more than 100,000 audience members annually, Joe's Pub first opened in 1998 and presents more than 800 performances a year.

Rocco Landesman, Chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts, announced that Joe's Pub at The Public Theater has been approved for a grant to support New York Voices at Joe's Pub, a series celebrating New York City's diversity in performance and culture, presenting collaborations between artists from sound and stage.

Joe's Pub announced today that they will be co-hosting a series of salon performances this summer at The Cooper Square Hotel. This April, Joe's Pub, a vital part of New York City's cultural landscape, announced a three month hiatus in programming, beginning July 2, to undertake an interior redesign and renovation. During this temporary closure, Joe's Pub will be continuing its dedication to presenting a wide variety of performing arts at affordable ticket prices to the New York and, specifically East Village community. Serving more than 100,000 audience members and presenting over 800 performances annually, this is the first time in 13 years of operation that Joe's Pub has closed its doors for an extended period of time.

Serving more than 100,000 audience members annually, Joe's Pub first opened in 1998 and presents more than 800 performances a year. It will officially reopen on October 1, 2011 with the same dedication to diverse programming, affordable ticket prices, full bar and dinner service, and an improved seating and stage design. Joe's Pub will remain open until Friday, July 1 with a full performance schedule at www.joespub.com.
