The National Tour of Hedwig and the Angry Inch is coming to Seattle's Paramount Theatre from December 13 - 18, featuring Tony and Olivier Award-nominated Euan Morton in the role of Hedwig, and Hannah Corneau as Yitzhak.

The National Tour of Hedwig and the Angry Inch is coming to Seattle's Paramount Theatre from December 13 - 18, featuring Tony and Olivier Award-nominated Euan Morton in the role of Hedwig, and Hannah Corneau as Yitzhak.

In a theatrical touchdown for the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood, stage and screen star Darren Criss has agreed to reprise the notable title role he stepped into last year on Broadway: as Hedwig in the just-launched national tour of the rousing 2014 Tony Award-winning reboot of the glam rock musical HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH, which began last month in San Francisco and continues its Los Angeles-area performances through November 27 (Euan Morton assumes the role for the rest of the tour starting November 29 in San Diego). Featuring solid direction from Michael Mayer and dynamic new musical staging from choreographer Spencer Liff, the searingly electric, engagingly hilarious show, at its core, celebrates the triumph of living life as authentic and as tenaciously as possible, no matter the constant obstacles. It's certainly a wonderful message to remind everyone in such uneasy times of late.

Broadway In Chicago has announced Tony and Olivier Award-nominated Euan Morton will play the role of Hedwig, and Hannah Corneau will play Yitzhak in the National Tour of Hedwig and the Angry Inch, the 2014 Tony Award-winning Best Musical Revival. Hedwig and the Angry Inch will play Chicago's Oriental Theatre (24 W. Randolph) March 7-19, 2017.

Damn The Light Productions Presents: ICONATHON: Showcase Series Donna Summer & Stevie Nicks Tributes at The Cutting Room. The night will open with a rock radio hits tribute, "The is How We Duet" featuring students selected to participate in DTL's Pop/ Rock performance lab from Marymount Manhattan College's Theatre Arts program. The spring intensive course was funded by The Lerner and Lowe Foundation. It will also feature special guest performances by Shannon Conley (Broadway's Hedwig and The Angry Inch) and Matt- Katz Bohen (Blondie).

Beginning this December, the Morris Museum will present an exhibition that weaves together texting and textiles. Featuring more than thirty contemporary artists, 'Text Messages' will be on view in Morristown from December 5, 2015 through March 20, 2016. Hedwig will soon put the wig back on the shelf. As BroadwayWorld reported yesterday, Tony-winning revival of Hedwig and the Angry Inch will close on Broadway on Sept, 13. Taye Diggs, the show's current star, will wrap its run. Now the show has officially updated its lottery policy. A recent tweet reads: 'Hedwig Alert! New lottery timing - you may now enter 2 hours before each performance; winners drawn 90 minutes prior to show time.'
