The Daily Mail writes that THE AUDIENCE, starring Helen Mirren, is on its way to Broadway. The production, helmed by Stephen Daldry and written by Peter Morgan, will begin previews in February 2015 for a March opening. Based on Stephen Frears acclaimed film, THE AUDIENCE played a sold-out run at the Gielgud last year.

Commissioned by the Finborough Theatre from Cerberus Theatre, the UK premiere and the English world premiere of controversial German playwright Rolf Hochhuth's Sommer 14 - A Dance of Death in a brand new translation opens at the Finborough Theatre for a four week limited season on Tuesday, 5 August 2014 (Press Night: Thursday, 7 August at 7.30pm).

The Adirondack Shakespeare Company, known for their unique Shakespeare IN THE RAW technique, will be returning to the Adirondack region for their fifth annual Summer Festival Season this July.

A sweeping spectacle of bawdy buffoonery and bloody rebellion, director Jonathan Epstein's razor sharp and condensed adaptation of Henry IV delivers both parts in one dynamic evening of theatre. The Lyric Stage Company of Boston's 2014-15 Season begins September 5 with Stephen Sondheim's masterpiece SWEENEY TODD, The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. The musical thriller runs September 5 through October 11, 2014. The opening is set for September 7 at 3 p.m.

The Nora Theatre Company presents Bryony Lavery's Her Aching Heart. The production includes original music composed for this production by Veronica Barron. The piece will be the Boston directorial debut for Lee Mikeska Gardner who was appointed Artistic Director of The Nora Theatre Company in November 2013 following a national search.

Spellbound Productions present IN LAMBETH, written by Jack Shepherd, directed by Michael Kingsbury and designed by Ruth Sutcliffe. Opening night is slated for today, 11 July 2014 at 7.30pm, with the regular run continuing through Saturday 2 August 2014 (one preview 10 July).

Shakespeare & Company's Northeast Regional Tour of Romeo and Juliet, directed by Jonathan Croy, returns home to Lenox settling in for special limited engagement at The Mount, Edith Wharton's Home. After playing to tens of thousands of students this winter and spring, the Company's non-union schools tour, the Northeast Regional Tour of Shakespeare, will perform their unique six-actor, 90-minute version of William Shakespeare's timeless tale of star-crossed lovers outdoors at 2 Plunkett Street-the address where the landmark theatre company was founded in 1978. Cincinnati Shakespeare Company begins gearing up for the 2014-2015 season with the audience favorite of 'The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)' by Adam Long, Daniel Singer and Jess Winfield. This wacky comedy condenses all thirty-eight of Shakespeare's plays into just ninety-seven minutes. Shakespeare & Company's Midsummer Night's Celebration, held last weekend, was a magical and unforgettable evening that celebrated the Bard's 450th birthday and the Company's 37thseason. Arts Midwest has announced that Tennessee Shakespeare Company is one of just 40 theatre companies in the United States to receive its prestigious Shakespeare in American Communities grant for TSC's innovative Romeo and Juliet Project. This is the second consecutive year TSC has been awarded the grant as the youngest organization of the 40 theatres selected.
