The woods offer not only freedom, but also a motley crew of characters, and the chance to experience life and love with a fellow outcast, Orlando, from a whole new perspective.

The Green Room 42 is proud to bring the third show of The Music of... series, now a monthly resident show, 'GR42 Sings' back to it's stage!

Playfully poking at our expectations of relationships between ages and genders using dance, circus, and sound, Upswing's new dance-circus hybrid will be touring to arts festivals this summer. With Upswing's characteristic warmth and lightness of touch in gently introducing provocative issues to people of all ages, Catch Me plays with the first assumptions that people make when they see a couple who are of different generations, race and genders. The outdoor show is set in a teetering installation of 30 intricately balanced chairs, which will remain in situ between performances. Artistic Director Vicki Amedume was inspired to make the show after observing people's reactions to her brother, and the show continues Upswing's exploration of identity, and how this can be subverted and reinforced through performance.

Acclaimed as 'the standout musical of the decade' by the UK's Sunday Times, the multi award-winning Matilda The Musical will make its debut in Hong Kong from 20th September 2019 at the Lyric Theatre, Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.

Tara Theatre today announce their international summer season (June-August 2019), featuring a breadth of work from across the globe. The season includes theatre, poetry, concerts and comedy with performances in English, French, Urdu and Japanese.

The Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center Foundation will honor Pegasus Transit and David Ralphe with this year's Pillar of the Arts Awards at the Spotlight Awards Ceremony during a dinner and auction event to be held Saturday, May 11 at the Wood Ranch Country Club. Ralphe and Pegasus Transit are being honored for their extraordinary support of the arts in our community. Chance Theater, Anaheim's official resident theater company, presents David Hare's celebrated drama, Skylight. Victory Gardens Theater presents Town Hall: Black Girls, Sexual Violence and the #MuteRKelly Campaign an event where Chicago community members can join conversations about women of color, sexual violence, community-based prevention, and systemic structures that contribute to this pervasive problem. It's time to walk the line. Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati presents the regional premiere of Skeleton Crew, a compelling drama about a driven team of autoworkers trying to navigate a cutthroat industry. This searing new play is by Dominique Morisseau (Detroit '67 ), a 2018 recipient of the prestigious MacArthur Foundation Fellows Program (unofficially referred to as a Genius Grant). Skeleton Crew is the final installment of Morisseau's powerful Detroit Project, which was inspired by August Wilson's landmark Century Cycle. Playing April 13-May 11, 2019. Directed by Stori Ayers. Lucy Briggs-Owen, Zoe West and Tilda Wickham lead the new play Out of Water, about a lesbian couple expecting a baby, written by Zoe Cooper. It follows her hit play Jess and Joe Forever, which played at the Orange Tree in 2016 and Traverse in 2017 in a co-production with Farnham Maltings. Guy Jones (Joe White's Mayfly) directs this joint commission between the OT and the Royal Shakespeare Company. The production is designed by Camilla Clarke, the lighting designer is Jess Bernberg, the Sound Designer & Composer is Helen Skiera and Casting Director is Matthew Dewsberry. Los Angeles Drama Club - the country's youngest Shakespeare company - is proud and honored to be invited by director, Dr. Auma Obama, as guest artists-in-residence at the Sauti Kuu Foundation (SKF) based in Alego Nyangoma, Siaya County, Western Kenya, August, 2019. Sauti Kuu - meaning "powerful voices" - is partnering with Los Angeles Drama Club to further their mission of enabling children and young people in Kenya and beyond to find and use their voice to positively change their lives.
