Cape Cod Theatre Project Announces Virtual 27th Season with four dynamic playwrights and the development of its 100th play!

The Cape Cod Theatre Project (CCTP) continues to bring extraordinary playwriting talent to the Cape this July with Season 27, featuring its 100th play. The season will once again be presented in an all-virtual format with a mix of emerging and established playwrights. This year, CCTP welcomes new and in-progress works by Bill Cain, Amy Evans, Selina Fillinger and Mike Lew who explore themes of identity, hidden secrets, far-reaching love, as well as birth and death.

John Lithgow Reads His Favorite Novel in a Special Recording Released By 92Y

John Lithgow is featured in a special, new audio recording released by 92Y: a reading of William Maxwell’s novel, So Long, See You Tomorrow. The novel is Lithgow’s personal favorite, and in the recording, commissioned by 92Y’s Unterberg Poetry Center, the Emmy Award-winner reads it in its entirety.

National Endowment For The Arts Awards Grant to Elm Shakespeare Company

Grants to organizations in three funding categories are included in this round: Grants for Arts Projects, Our Town, and State and Regional Partnerships. Elm Shakespeare Company has announced that they will receive a $20,000 grant for Arts Projects – Theater.
