The Emelin Theatre for the Performing Arts has released their schedule for upcoming January and February events:

Since announcing a residency at Gemini & Scorpio, the funky Gowanus loft, THIRST TRAP with ANYA VOLZ has continued to develop its reputation as an essential space for Brooklyn comedy.

On Tuesday, February 19 (7:30pm) IFC Center will feature a one-time only presentation of director D.A. Pennebaker's 1970 classic Original Cast Album: Company that documents inside the studio recording of the album for the Stephen Sondheim musical Company. The film has become a Broadway cult classic for capturing the pressure cooker environment that culminates with Elaine Stritch undergoing multiple retakes of the song 'The Ladies Who Lunch.' The event will also include a Q&A with Pennebaker and special guests.

Razor-sharp, yet soft and cuddly like a baby's blanket, Ron Funches is a hugely in-demand US comedian who frequently headlines shows across the US, UK and Canada. Frontier Comedy could not be more pleased to announce his Australian debut!

Majestic Repertory Theatre is proud to present the world premiere of Bigfoot, The Musical by Amber Ruffin (Late Night with Seth Myers and Comedy Central's Drunk History), Kevin Sciretta (iO Chicago), and David Schmoll (The Second City). The musical comedy offers the origination story of America's most famous mythological creature. It is directed by Troy Heard (Awarded Best Director by Desert Companion Magazine, 2012, 2014 & 2018 and Las Vegas Review-Journal, 2012) and will run at Majestic Repertory Theatre, June 28 - July 15, 2018. Tickets are on sale now.

On September 19 th, Tullamore D.E.W. the world's second largest Irish whiskey premiered a new global advertising platform, "Beauty of Blend," which will be its most extensive international communications campaign to date. Debuting in the U.S. at New York's Lower East Side Tenement Museum, the "Beauty of Blend" campaign includes television and digital advertising, an ongoing social media campaign, micro-site, events and influencer programming.

New Politics have shared the video for their current single, 'One Of Us,' which is now approaching top 10 at alternative radio. Tomorrow, the band kicks off a tour across the U.S. with 311, making stops in New York, Philadelphia, Los Angeles and more. A full list of dates is below.

Actress, comedian and writer Ali Wong, one of today's boldest comedic voices, will perform Saturday, Oct. 7 at Park Theater at Monte Carlo Resort and Casino.
