Pull up your boots and hold onto your hats when this all-dancing, all-singing, all-new production of the rip-roarin' musical comedy classic bursts onto the Ogunquit Playhouse stage tonight, September 7, to October 1.

Artistic Director Les Waters and Managing Director Kevin E. Moore are thrilled to announce the cast and creative team for William Shakespeare's bloody tale of unbridled ambition, Macbeth. Directed by Les Waters, Macbeth will preview on October 4 and October 5, open on October 6, and run through October 26 in the Pamela Brown Auditorium as part of the Brown-Forman Series. The Theater at the 14th Street Y brings a new lens to the downtown performing arts scene with its exciting and diverse curated Theater, Dance, and LABA Series for the 2016-2017 Season.  Through partnerships with each of the shows, the 14th Street Y embraces the NYC artist community to bring audiences a wide range of experiences.

As previously announced, Maria Dizzia assumes the role of Shellie in the world premiere production of THE LAYOVER, written by Leslye Headland and directed by Trip Cullman, today, September 6. She returns to Second Stage Theatre after her acclaimed performance in the title role of Eurydice, during the company's 28th season.

Carly J. Bauer Productions and Mark Brystowski, in association with the Untitled Theatre Collective, will stage a revival of Leslye Headland's pitch-black comedy BACHELORETTE - and in doing so, transform elements of Walkerspace into a hedonistic hotel. BACHELORETTE made its world premiere at Second Stage Uptown and subsequently inspired the hit film produced by Will Ferrell & Adam McKay. SONGS FROM SHOWS YOU'LL NEVER SEE AT ARTISAN opens at Artisan Center Theater on Friday, September 9, 2016 and runs through Saturday, October 8, 2016. The 150 seat Second Stage theater is located at 444 East Pipeline Road in Hurst. Performances are at 7:00pm on Thursdays and Saturdays and 8:00pm on Fridays. Yale Repertory Theatre, celebrating 50 years of daring artists, bold choices, and adventurous audiences, presents the world premiere of Scenes from Court Life, or the whipping boy and his prince by Sarah Ruhl, directed by Mark Wing-Davey, September 30-October 22 at Yale University Theatre (222 York Street). Opening Night is Thursday, October 6.

The professional Centenary Stage Company (CSC) , the regional theatre in residence on the campus of Centenary University, will offer an Adult Acting Workshop this fall, open to the public.
