Vendini, the company that makes the business of live events simple with industry leading software and services, continues to make massive gains as the leading partner among performing arts centers, with 380 new performing arts members joining in 2016. Today Vendini announced new partnerships with performing arts organizations across the United States, including the brand-new Saint Helena Performing Arts Center, which kicked off its inaugural season at the $14.5 million building that opened in August 2016 and the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus, which performs throughout the country and is just shy of celebrating its 40th anniversary season. With an all-in-one solution that benefits organizations of all sizes, Vendini also announced as members the multi-venue Artisan Center Theater and New York's intimate IATI Theater.

The Catastrophic Theatre presents a limited run of Wallace Shawn's fiercely urgent, frighteningly prescient masterwork, THE DESIGNATED MOURNER, a special, off-season addition for those that need it, January 5-15, 2017 at The MATCH.

Yale Repertory Theatre presents the world premiere of IMOGEN SAYS NOTHING by Aditi Brennan Kapil, directed by Laurie Woolery, at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street), January 20-February 11. Opening Night is Thursday, January 26.

Toho Co., Ltd. has announced the world premiere of a new production of William Shakespeare's romantic comedy AS YOU LIKE IT from the Tony Award-winning creative team of Michael Mayer and Tom Kitt, who will reunite after previous collaborations on American Idiot: The Musical on Broadway and Second Stage Theatre's Everyday Rapture, which will open in Tokyo in January 2017.

Theatre by The Lake (TBTL) - Cumbria's only producing theatre - is delighted to announce its eagerly anticipated 2017 season, the first under the leadership of new Artistic Director, Conrad Lynch - marking the theatre's bold move to being a producer-led venue for the first time.

Sutton Foster's start on Broadway is the real-life version of the stuff movie musicals are made of; one week before the opening of Throughly Modern Millie on Broadway, Foster received a call from director Michael Mayer, bumping her up from understudy to the star of the show—and the rest is musical theatre history. This morning, Foster sat down with CBS' Mo Rocca to chat about her journey as a Broadway actress, and her current starring roles in TV Land's Younger and The New Group's Sweet Charity. When speaking about the latter, in reference to recovering from her divorce several years ago, Foster said, “What's interesting is that I know [Charity], because I think I have been her, but luckily, I don't feel like I'm her now.”

Abingdon Theatre Company continues its Ghostlight Reading Series with TALL SKINNY CRUEL CRUEL BOYS by Caroline V. McGraw, author of Ultimate Beauty Bible (Page 73), on Thursday, December 15 at 7pm. The reading is free and open to the public at Abingdon Theatre Company's June Havoc Theatre (312 West 36th Street). Danya Taymor is set to direct.

Tisa Chang, Founding Artistic Producing Director of Pan Asian Repertory Theatre, announces its 40th Milestone Season in 2017 with the commissioned World Premiere of INCIDENT AT HIDDEN TEMPLE, which will run from January 21 - February 12, 2017 at the Clurman Theatre at Theatre Row in New York City (410 W. 42nd Street). The official opening will be on Thursday January 26 at 7:30PM.
