La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts & McCoy Rigby Entertainment present the third show of its 2016-2017 season, Jason Robert Brown's THE LAST FIVE YEARS, starring Devin Archer and Natalie Storrs, with musical direction by Brent Crayon and directed by Ovation Award-winner Nick DeGruccio.

Drury Lane Theatre presents the disco musical Saturday Night Fever, rewritten for the Drury Lane stage, featuring music and lyrics by The Bee Gees, based on the smash-hit Paramount/RSO Film and the story by Nik Cohn, and adapted for the stage by Robert Stigwood in collaboration with Bill Oaks.

Marin Theatre Company continues its 50th Anniversary Season with the West Coast Premiere of Nambi E. Kelley's adaptation of Richard Wright's Native Son.

Producers of The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical have announced that his March for the brand-new production at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street). The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical begins performances on March 23, opening on Tuesday, April 4 and will run through May 6, 2017. More casting has just been announced!

Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Weeknd, Imagine Dragons, Lana Del Rey, and DJ Snake will lead the lineup for the first-ever Lollapalooza Paris, taking place July 22-23, 2017 at the Hippodrome de Longchamp.

West of 10th will present its production of Lonely, I'm Not by Paul Weitz at The Workshop Theater in New York City for a limited engagement beginning tonight, January 18th.

Lookingglass Theatre Company announces casting for the final two shows of its 2016-2017 season, including the U.S. Premiere of Beyond Caring, written and directed by Alexander Zeldin in association with Dark Harbor Stories, a company led by Ensemble Member David Schwimmer and Tom Hodges, as well as the remount of the Jeff Award-winning Moby Dick, adapted from the novel by Herman Melville and directed by Ensemble Member David Catlin.

Abingdon Theatre Company kicks off 2017 with a limited engagement of THE DORK KNIGHT, a new play written and performed by Jason O'Connell (star of Bedlam's recent Off-Broadway hit Sense and Sensibility) about his complicated relationship with the Caped Crusader. Performances run through January 29, as part of Abingdon's new Second Stage Series featuring immediate and immersive new works. NewYorkRep and The Telling Company have announced casting for their upcoming staged reading of WEARING BLACK, the new musical featuring book, music and lyrics by Riley Thomas.

Obie Award winner Nikkole Salter dives headfirst into the controversial world of football mascots and appropriation of Native American culture in this new play commissioned in partnership with the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) Stage Exchange.

Laguna Playhouse Artistic Director Ann E. Wareham is thrilled to announce the third show in the Laguna Playhouse 2016-2017 season, CHAPATTI, written by Christian O'Reilly and directed by David Ellenstein, based on the direction of Judith Ivey. "I just fell in love with this play and the beautiful and quirky love story at its center.  I think our audiences are about to fall in love with it too," says Wareham.  CHAPATTI will begin previews on Wednesday, January 11; will open on Sunday, January 15 at 5:30pm and will run through Sunday, January 29, 2016 at the Laguna Playhouse, 606 Laguna Canyon Road in Laguna Beach.

Ensemble Studio Theatre (EST), along with EST's YOUNGBLOOD, whose past plays include the Tony Award-nominated Hand to God, will present the premiere of MOPE.

Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced the world premiere production of Roe written by Lisa Loomer and directed by Bill Rauch. Roe is a co-production with the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and Arena Stage.
