New York Stage and Film announces the programming line-up for their 2019 Winter Season at The Lark/Barebones Studio (311 West 43rd Street, 5th Floor): Halley Feiffer's Saying Goodbye to the People I Love From My Bathtub, 2015 Founders' Award Recipient Harrison David Rivers' the bandaged place, and Sharr White's Pictures From Home.

ACTUALLY, WE'RE F**KED, a new play by Matt Williams, will be given its world-premiere production at Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce St. in Manhattan), with previews starting on February 26 prior to an official opening on March 7, it has been announced by Cherry Lane founder Angelina Fiordellisi and artistic director Seri Lawrence. The play is directed by John Pasquin, with whom Mr. Williams has a long-standing collaboration, including the popular television series "Home Improvement."

Ghostlight Records has announced that The Jonathan Larson Project is now available for pre-order and is scheduled for release in physical, digital, and streaming formats on Friday, April 5. Customers who pre-order the digital album will immediately receive a download of the first single, 'Greene Street.' The album features the music of the late Jonathan Larson, the generation-defining writer of Rent and tick, tick… BOOM!, the former an iconic Broadway landmark and the latter a beloved musical gem. The Jonathan Larson Project is an evening of Jonathan's unheard work featuring songs from never-produced shows like 1984 and Superbia; songs that were cut from Rent and tick, tick… BOOM!; songs written for both theatrical revues and for the radio; songs about politics, love and New York City; including many never before publicly performed or recorded. Tonight, FOX will air their third live musical production. Following in the footsteps of Grease and A Christmas Story, the network will be presenting Jonathan Larson's Rent, a rock musical that is loosely based on Giacomo Puccini's 1896 opera, La boheme. The story follows a group of impoverished young artists struggling to survive and create a life in New York City's East Village in the thriving days of Bohemian Alphabet City, under the shadow of HIV/AIDS.

Executive producer and playwright Jordan Jaffe, along with co-producer Rebecca Crigler (Mike Birbiglia's The New One, Chris Gethard: Career Suicide), are pleased to announce the world premiere of Jaffe's new eco-comedy Whirlwind. The second entry in the playwright's 'Energy' series (following up the world premiere production of Crude), concerning the dirty dealings and messy relationships at a clean energy wind farm, Whirlwind begins previews at The Wild Project (195 E. 3rd St., between Ave. A and Ave. B) on January 23 toward an opening on January 28, with a limited engagement scheduled through February 10. Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced the full cast and creative team for Metamorphoses. This co-production with the Guthrie Theater is led by nationally and internationally renowned writer and director Mary Zimmerman.

San Francisco Playhouse announced casting for Lauren Yee's King of the Yees, headlined by Obie and Lucille Lortel Award-winning actor and San Francisco native Francis Jue. The play, centered on San Francisco's Chinatown, was inspired by Yee's family and their deep connections within the community. Joshua Kahan Brody will direct the Playhouse production.

Interrobang Theatre Project is pleased to announce casting for its Midwest premiere of Emily Schwend's drama UTILITY, an intimate look at an East Texas woman's struggle to make ends meet, directed by Artistic Director Georgette Verdin*.

David Dean Bottrell announced today that he is pleased to bring the newly revised 2019 version of his critically acclaimed One Man show to New York City this February. Partnering with Director Guy Stroman and Producer Akia Squitieri, the show will be presented at the storied Dixon Place Theatre.

Rainy Day Productions will present industry readings of the new play Chasing the River by Jean Dobie Giebel. Directed by Illana Stein, the six-member cast will feature Tony Carlin, Aaron Costa Ganis, Annie Golden, Deborah Rayne, Chet Siegel, and Wendy Rich Stetson. Fountain Hills Theater is excited to announce the second production in their 2018-19 season-their 17th season as a full-time youth theater-"The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee," February 15-March 3, 2019.

The Marsh Berkeley has announced that due to popular demand it has scheduled an extended run of Lisa Rothman's hit show, Dragon in the Drop-Off Lane. This hilarious and cautionary tale describes what happens when Rothman's Oakland-raised kids venture into the fairytale world of Marin, where all the children seem to know how to sew, speak in a "Crystal Cave whisper," and decorate their (vegan) gingerbread men with stevia icing, carob chips, and unsweetened coconut flakes. Of course, no fairytale would be complete without a fairy godmother to help Rothman reckon with her parenting choices.

Next up in Town Hall Theatre 2018/19 "Lost & Found" Season is the California Premiere of Melissa James Gibson's BROOKLYN BRIDGE, a play full of heart and humor for the whole family.  BROOKLYN BRIDGE will have 12 performances, including two previews, February 28 through March 23, 2019, at Town Hall Theatre Company, 3535 School Street, in Lafayette, CA.  Tickets are $18 - $30, and are available through the Box Office at (925) 283-1557 or online at www.TownHallTheatre.com.

Gamut Theatre's Stage Door Series presents Murderess by Anne Bertram opening January 18, 2019 at Gamut Theatre in downtown Harrisburg.

Described by the Los Angeles Times as a "cultural phenomenon," Dear Evan Hansen comes to Seattle's Paramount Theatre from January 23 through February 2. In advance of the start of performances, the production announced today that it will host a digital ticket lottery offering fans the chance to purchase a limited number of $25 tickets available per performance.
