Shakespeare's HAMLET Extends at The Old Globe

The Old Globe today announced due to popular demand, that William Shakespeare's exhilarating tragedy Hamlet, has now been extended through September 22. 

Berkeley Rep presents World Premiere of IMAGINARY COMFORTS

Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced the world premiere of Imaginary Comforts, or The Story of the Ghost of the Dead Rabbit, written by Daniel Handler and directed by Tony Taccone. The new play begins previews on Thursday, October 5 and the show runs through Sunday, November 19. Individual tickets begin at $30 and can be purchased online at berkeleyrep.org or by phone, 510 647-2949. Press night will be on Thursday, October 12.

Oscar Nominee Marsha Mason Returns To Arizona Theatre Company To Direct CHAPTER TWO

Arizona Theatre Company (ATC; David Ivers, Artistic Director; Billy Russo, Managing Director) is pleased to welcome back four-time Academy Award-nominee Marsha Mason, who will direct Neil Simon's autobiographical romantic comedy Chapter Two to open ATC's 51st season, Sept. 9-30 at the Temple of Music & Art, 333 S. Scott Ave. in Tucson, Oct. 5-22 at the Herberger Theater Center, 222 E. Monroe in Phoenix.

Public Works Seattle: Groundbreaking Program Announced At Seattle Rep

Seattle Repertory Theatre has announced details for Public Works Seattle, a groundbreaking community engagement and participatory theatre initiative aimed at creating theatre of the people, by the people, and for the people of the region. Cast Set for All-Woman THE TAMING OF THE SHREW at Chicago Shakespeare

Chicago Shakespeare Theater (CST) Artistic Director Barbara Gaines stages Shakespeare's raucous comedy The Taming of the Shrew with a powerhouse, all-woman cast-setting up a witty and thought-provoking debate on politics, power, and love. Framed as a performance by a band of Suffragettes with additional dialogue by Second City's Ron West, The Taming of the Shrew launches Chicago Shakespeare's 2017/18 Season in the Courtyard Theater, September 16-November 12, 2017.

New Block of Tickets Released for Immersive KPOP Run This Fall

Ken Ludwig's ROBIN HOOD! Extends Again at The Old Globe

The Old Globe today announced that due to popular demand, the exciting Globe-commissioned world premiere comedy Ken Ludwig's Robin Hood! has now extended again, through September 10! This is the second and final extension for the hit show, which previously announced a one-week addition through September 3. The production plays in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Single tickets start at $45 and are on sale now.

Fantasia Comes to 59E59 Theaters as SMALL WORLD Imagines a Meeting Between Walt Disney and Stravinsky

59E59 Theaters (Val Day, Artistic Director; Brian Beirne, Managing Director) is thrilled to host the New York City premiere of SMALL WORLD, written by Frederick Stroppel and directed by Joe Brancato. Produced by Penguin Rep, SMALL WORLD begins performances on Wednesday, September 13 for a limited engagement through Saturday, October 7.  Press opening is Sunday, September 17 at 7:15 PM.  The performance schedule is Tuesday - Thursday at 7:15 PM; Friday at 8:15 PM; Saturday at 2:15 PM & 8:15 PM; and Sunday at 3:15 PM & 7:15 PM. Victoria Theatre Association's Premier Health Broadway Series will present Disney's THE LITTLE MERMAID, the under-the-sea spectacle swimming into the Benjamin & Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center Aug. 8-13, 2017. Tickets for the timeless fairytale go on sale Wednesday, June 21.
