IFC's new original sketch comedy series The Birthday Boys, which showcases the silly-meets-smart humor from the popular comedy troupe of the same name, will premiere on IFC tonight, October 18 at 10:30pm ET/PT

The Film Society of Lincoln Center announced that Ben Stiller's highly anticipated adaptation of James Thurber's classic short story The Secret Life of Walter Mitty which also stars Stiller alongside Kristen Wiig, will make its World Premiere tonight, October 5 as the Centerpiece Gala presentation for the 51st New York Film Festival (September 27 - October 13).

DirecTV and Brainstorm Media announced today that Something to Talk About, a series of socially and culturally relevant documentaries, will return to Audience Network this fall with the premiere of Haiti Untold tonight, October 3.

I was a bit intrusive to my cast this evening: I went around to each cast member and stuck my voice memo recorder in their face asking them 4 on-the-spot questions about Henry Higgins. It proved to be a funny experiment as my cast mates blurted out some of their answers (I made this a timed experiment, asking each cast member to say the first answer that came to mind). As it turns out, there were a few common answers about where Higgins would live, or which celebrity he resembles. And just the same, there were some "left field" answers which were cause for a chuckle. Here are the questions I asked:

Mojo will preview at the Harold Pinter Theatre from 26 October 2013 with press night on 13 November and is booking to 25 January 2014. Tickets for Mojo go on public sale today.

Sofia's Downstairs Theatre and it's sister restaurant on West 46th Street--the site where the Luca Brasi murder scene was filmed for The Godfather--may now sleep with the fishes, but Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks, who for the past five years and more than 500 shows have been playing at the venue and keeping alive the big band music of the jazz and swing eras of the 1920s, will be swimming upstream to a new home at the Iguana Restaurant on 54th Street (between Broadway and 8th Avenue). Giordano was forced to move when earlier this summer The Hotel Edison decided not to renew Sofia Restaurant's lease (after jacking up the rent exponentially). The Nighthawks, who played at Sofia's downstairs club every Monday and Tuesday nights from 8 to 11pm, will have the same weekly performance schedule at Iguana beginning on September 9. The cover will be $15 with a $20 food/drink minimum.

The Pasadena Playhouse presents Val Kilmer in CITIZEN TWAIN for a five-show limited engagement. Val Kilmer, famous for his portrayals of iconic characters such as Jim Morrison (The Doors), Doc Holliday (Tombstone) and Batman (Batman Forever), inhabits the spirit of yet another legendary figure: Mark Twain. Kilmer continues to develop CITIZEN TWAIN, a solo show about the man considered to be the world's greatest storyteller, with this five performance extension at The Playhouse, August 21 - 24, 2013.
