Frozen is celebrating the first day of summer, today, Friday, June 21, with the release of three brand new music videos featuring the current stars of the hit Broadway musical, including the first recorded performance by Ryann Redmond as Olaf, the first female to portray the beloved snowman in any production of Frozen.
Having made her Broadway debut in 2017 as Ti Moune in ONCE ON THIS ISLAND, the audience cheered Hailey Kilgore as she ran onstage at Feinstein's/54 Below in a green, flowing dress for her opening number, 'The Wizard and I,' announcing in song this is what she's 'waited for since birth!' Making her solo debut on Jan. 30, her enthusiasm was infectious, her voice shimmered through each sustained note, and even those who knew her seemed surprised at the volume and strength that carried each song.
The Birdland Theater hosted two-time Tony-nominated Broadway songwriter and performer Amanda Green with another one of her monthly shows. Amanda brought exuberant wit and hilarious banter in an evening of her funny and moving songs, including special previews of her up and coming shows. Amanda was joined by special guest stars Kelli Barrett, Julia Murney, Ariana DeBose, Nancy Opel and Howard McGillin. Musical direction was Annbritt duChateau.
Alternating between the fun/serious musical styles of Louie Prima, Mickey Katz, The Barry Sisters, George Frideric Handel, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Jule Styne and others, Jane Lynch & Kate Flannery brought a degree of exciting eclectic music and humor to Cafe Carlyle not often seen in the legendary space. Their show is titled Two Lost Souls, but the only place these extremely talented actor/singers/comics get lost in is the world of marvelous intelligent, wacky entertainment.

Laura Osnes, Tony-nominated for originating title roles in BONNIE & CLYDE and CINDERELLA, has devoted an entire cabaret act to pondering that hypothetical what if. Bringing an updated version of her show THE PATHS NOT TAKEN back to Feinstein's/54 Below for a four-performance run beginning November 27, Osnes exclusively performed songs which have never seen the light from shows that she nearly booked and either didn't get or had to back out of for one reason or another.
