Photo Coverage: Jane Lynch and Kate Flannery bring 'Two Lost Souls' to Cafe' Carlyle
Alternating between the fun/serious musical styles of Louie Prima, Mickey Katz, The Barry Sisters, George Frideric Handel, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Jule Styne and others, Jane Lynch & Kate Flannery brought a degree of exciting eclectic music and humor to Cafe Carlyle not often seen in the legendary space. Their show is titled Two Lost Souls, but the only place these extremely talented actor/singers/comics get lost in is the world of marvelous intelligent, wacky entertainment.
Quite often celebrities whose fame is derived from TV or movies experiment with cabaret as an occasional hobby. Not so with these ladies. They are dead serious about creating a fun show.
Jane Lynch is a two-time Emmy-winning host of Hollywood Game Night and an Emmy and Golden Globe winner for her portrayal of Sue Sylvester on Glee. She currently appears in The Good Fight on CBS and on Amazon's The Amazing Miss Maisel. She made her Broadway debut in the 2013 production of Annie, and soon thereafter embarked on her own live concert tour, See Jane Sing, with Kate Flannery and Tim Davis. Kate Flannery is best known for her nine season as Meredith the drunk on NBC;s The Office. Their holiday album, A Swingin; Little Christmas, reached Billboard's Top 10.
Fasten your seat belt and see them at Cafe Carlyle Sept 11-22.
