Opera Exposures, the not-for-profit organization dedicated to presenting concerts and recitals featuring seasoned professional musicians and young operatic artists in accessible venues at affordable prices, will present a free Tribute Concert to Italian-born Soprano Licia Albanese on Sunday, October 19, 2014, at 3 PM at The Music Hall at the Snug Harbor Cultural Center, 1000 Richmond Terrace, in Staten Island. Miss Albanese attended Opera Exposures' first recital during Black History Month in February 2004 at the Municipal Building in Manhattan.

As Baltimore celebrates the bicentennial of the War of 1812 with its Inner Harbor Sailabration and Baltimore County hosts Star Spangled 200, the Community College of Baltimore County is focusing its commemoration of this historic event on a musical drama based on the 'Battle of North Point.' More than two years in the planning, CCBC has created an original patriotic musical pageant O'er the Ramparts that will premiere at 7:30 p.m. tonight, Sept. 12 and Saturday, Sept. 13 and at 2 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 14 in the John E. Ravekes Theatre at CCBC Dundalk, 7200 Sollers Point Road.

GSN, the leader in game shows and competitive entertainment, announced today it has picked up additional seasons of two original series: Emmy(R)-nominated THE CHASE (season four, 20 episodes) and matchmaking competition show IT TAKES A CHURCH (season two, eight episodes). An original comedy, written by veteran Baltimore actor Larry Malkus, Heinie Goochems is the story of Junior, a 40 year-old man, who, after being laid off from his marketing job, finds himself thrust into the role of stay-at-home dad. Junior's wife, Kelly, the new breadwinner of the family, wants another baby, and their basement tenant, Carlos, seems to be growing something down there. When a handsome concierge veterinarian shows up to perform a procedure on the family cat, things don't go quite as expected.
